On what day did god invent 'Reply All' and could he not have rested on that day too?
That's all for today. Just needed to get that off my chest.

Tiger Woods News clips, playing golf, neccessary?
I find it interesting that when recent news clips of Tiger Woods and
his car accident / affair rumours, they show 2, 3 or more clips of him
playing golf.
Is this because some people might be watching on thinking, hmmm, Tiger Woods, I know that name, who is he though...cut to clip of Tiger sinking a putt...Oh ya, that guy!.
Sheesh.

I distinctly said, Spinal Tap, and Puppet Show
Or, it could be, I distinctly said, Hedley and then Dora the Explorer
You may remember from Spinal Tap, the scene where they are just getting backon tour again and playing small venues. At a Theme Park venue, they are disturbed to find out that they've been billed 2nd, below 'Puppet Show'
Well, in a similar vein, but more, well, real life, I saw this banner ad for a new opening of Best Buy, with Hedley billed 3rd, behind Dora the Explorer and Spider man! Kinda funny I thought.

The 4 Tenors
Came across this pic. I love it, had to share. It is from a slip up our friend Liz made about 5 years ago, typing my name as Ave. Which then became Ave Milio which I thought sounded like an Italian Singer. So Photoshop took over and this image was born.
Enjoy, and carry on.

Kanye West is not dead, but checking out the rumour could have sickened your computer.
For a few hours Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, "RIP Kanye West" was one of the top tags on Twitter and the phrase "Kanye West Dead" was the top search trend on Google.

Rotary Phone - our retro band
OK, we have kept pretty quiet while we have been putting together a bunch of 80's brit-pop cover songs. It's been a while since I played a live show and a first for the other guys so we have taken it slowly and weren't expecting to being playing a gig yet.
Well, we were offered a stint tonight at a TIFF after party. How could we pass up a chance to play at a film festival party? It shoould be fun to get back 'out there' again.
We decided on about 7 of our stronger songs and will goon tonight around midnight, hopefully a bit earlier (old guy alert) and play through the set. If things go well, we have a few more ready to go, we'll just have to see.
Here is the tentative set as it stands now...(Updated with the actual set we played)
Clash - Rock the Casbah
Tears for Fears - Mad World
Echo and the Bunnymen - The Killing Moon
The Cure - Friday I'm in Love
Psychadelic Furs - Pretty in Pink.
U2 - All I Want is You
The Monks - Nice Legs Shame About Her Face
Simple Minds - Don't Forget About Me
The Jam - A Town Called Malice
The Cure - Just Like Heaven

This site plays music streamed from YouTube. You can make playlists etc and listen anywhere you are online. Of course the quality is not as good as say, iTunes but it's still a decent alternative.
