Tiger Woods News clips, playing golf, neccessary?

I find it interesting that when recent news clips of Tiger Woods and his car accident / affair rumours, they show 2, 3 or more clips of him playing golf.

Is this because some people might be watching on thinking, hmmm, Tiger Woods, I know that name, who is he though...cut to clip of Tiger sinking a putt...Oh ya, that guy!.

Sheesh.
